SFB hosted another successful Info2Grow event yesterday. Delegates heard how Pension Auto Enrolment and Linked In will have an impact on their business.
The key message arising from the popular Info2Grow event was ‘Start Planning NOW for Pension Auto Enrolment’. Industry expert Jamie Clark from Royal London informed delegates of the duties employers must undertake to adhere to pension automatic enrolment.
Many small businesses aren’t prepared for what auto enrolment means in terms of time and money. The Info2Grow event provided delegates with an understanding of what to expect and how they can ease the burden by speaking to their accountant or financial adviser and planning early.
Following the auto enrolment presentation, Paul Carvell of Stewart, Fletcher & Barrett (SFB) and Carolyn Riley of Cambron Limited demonstrated how LinkedIn can be used to generate new work for your business.
Info2Grow:Embracing the modern world was organised by SFB chartered accountants, Lloyds Bank, Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council, Cambron Limited, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses. The event took place on 4th December at SFB’s offices on Townsend Drive, Nuneaton.
Stewart, Fletcher & Barrett’s managing partner Paul Carvell said: “Although the two topics were quite different, they were both relevant to most businesses in the room. We hope that delegates will start planning early for pension auto enrolment and will utilise Linked In to help their business grow.”
