Hinckley Summer Sizzler

The holidays got off to a sizzling start at our Summer Fun Barbecue in Hinckley last Thursday (June 30th). Held to introduce the firm to the town’s business community, the event featured a charity raffle, business card draw, cocktail-making and barbecue sauce/salsa-making demonstrations, as well as complimentary drinks and barbecue food. The top prize for the raffle was a meal for two kindly donated by Praha, the venue the event was held in, and all money raised went to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.

We’d like to thank everybody who attended for helping to make the event such a success.

When it comes to supporting a valuable local charity, you can count on the county’s accountants! Warwickshire Society of Chartered Accountants managed to raise £1925 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) at its annual dinner in April. The charity was chosen by Peter White, partner at Stewart Fletcher & Barrett and incumbent President of the Society, as this year’s beneficiary of the fundraising event.
